compromise.Founded by Layla Morrison, a New York City based hairstylist with over six years of hands on experience, LBL Extensions was born behind the chair. After working closely with textured hair clients for years, Layla noticed a consistent gap in the market: curly extensions rarely matched real curl patterns. The textures were often too loose, overly processed, inconsistent, or simply didn’t blend. Determined to change that, Lay set out to source and develop extensions that truly reflect Type 3 and Type 4 hair — hair that looks natural, feels luxurious, and performs in real life. Not just for installs, but for everyday wear, longevity, and confidence.
